As a partner of Microsoft, we share their global vision to empower every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more. Together, we can and do have powerful impact. Wherever possible, we will therefore strive to:
- Ensure we are an ambassador of Microsoft Norway’s Digital Skills initiatives
- Ensure we are building AI in a responsible and ethical way, consistent with AI design principles
- Ensure we are focused on sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint
- Endeavour to build a more diverse and inclusive workforce
- Endeavour to build accessible solutions and services, to empower our employees and customers with disabilities for a more inclusive future.
In Element Logic we focus on strengthening our value proposition, by building digital skills. We believe this will give us a strategic advantage in the market.
By joining Microsoft Partner Pledge, Element Logic teams up with a wider community to increase the focus on these topics. Continuous focus on digital skills, diversity and inclusion is considered a competitive advantage for Element Logic. Element Logic embraces the Scandinavian business model with flat organisational structure and fast decision making, which we consider an advantage when attracting the best resources.
Developing digital skills
One of Element Logic’s main focus areas and slogan is “optimizing warehouse performance”. Automation and robotization is what we do – which requires continuous development of digital skills for the future to ensure our competitive advantage. In the 4th industrial revolution, where technology changes are exponential, we need to build the required digital skills in “exponential speed”. It is strategically important for us to base our solutions, both internal and external, on leading edge technology from partners like Microsoft. We are building our cloud solution based on Microsoft’s platforms and technology.
"Doubling the work force in a year where the same applies for the financial numbers can stress the organization, however continuing being certified as a Great Place to Work is a significant achievement our employees and managements have accomplished."
Diversity and Inclusion
An important factor to our successful growth is how we have been able to recruit broadly in the market with focus on people with diverse backgrounds, gender and age. Almost doubling the staff, from 140 to 225 in 12 months, highly affected by Covid-19, sets a presidence for how we preserve the culture of the company. “Doubling the work force in a year where the same applies for the financial numbers can stress the organization, however continuing being certified as a Great Place to Work is a significant achievement our employees and managements have accomplished”, says Eir Bjørkly, Executive Vice President Northern region Element Logic.
Element Logic currently counts just above 220 employees, whereas approximately 90 are employed at the Headquarter in Norway. We will continue to strengthen the organization through hiring competent people. A diverse and including company culture is representing both Microsoft and Element Logic.
